Narrating Tales of Preschool Storytime

Alphabet Storytime! “B” is for…

on July 28, 2010

I’m a little behind on my blogging.  LAST week we talked about the letter B.  Here are the things we did in ST that week:

Welcome song is Can’t Wait to Celebrate By: Jim Gill

We learned some sign language for things that began with the letter “B”.

We played “Little Mouse” using the feltboard.

We read Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus.  I love anything Mo Willems and this is a great book to get the kids involved in.  We were all yelling “no!”

Sang The Wheels on the Bus.  A classic in storytime.

Next we read Brown Bear, Brown Bear By: Bill Martin.  I used the feltboard to go along with it.

After that we did the rhyme/song 5 Little Birds.

Sang Bubblegum By: Dr. Jean.

For our last thing we did our goodbye rhyme!

Our craft this week we glued little bunnies together and glued them to popsicle sticks.
