Flannel Friday: Five Little Cats

Here is my version of Five Little Cats, hope you enjoy!

Five Little Cats

5 little cats playing near the door, one ran inside and that left 4.

4 little cats underneath a tree, one heard a dog bark and that left 3.

3 little cats wondering what to do, one saw a little bird and that left 2.

2 little cats sitting in the sun, one ran to catch his tail and that left 1.

1 little cat looking for some fun, he saw a butterfly and then there were none!

Flannel Friday: Five Little Ducks

This flannel is made to go with the fun song, Five Little Ducks!  If you don’t know the tune, here is Raffi singing it.  This is a great rhyme/song to do because it’s so easy to learn.  I also like to use hand motions to get the kids more involved.  I’ve had some kids ask where Daddy duck is, so I usually end up telling them he is at work but he will be home later to play.

Five Little Ducks

5 little ducks went out to play, over the hill and far away, Mama duck said Quack, Quack, Quack, Quack, and 4 little ducks came waddling back.

4 little ducks…

3 little ducks…

2 little ducks…

1 little duck went out to play, over the hill and far away, Mama duck said Quack, Quack, Quack, Quack, and all the little ducks came waddling back!
