Fall Storytime

on October 4, 2012

To celebrate the beginning of autumn, I did a fall storytime.  Living in Las Vegas, I had to explain what fall really is since we don’t get much of one here.  Here is my handout!

Fall Storytime Handout

For the song “The Leaves on the Tree” I pass out a read and orange die cut leaf to each child so they can use them as props during the song. They have so much fun with it!

And here is the flannel board I use for Fall is Not Easy.

Check out my Autumn Tag on Shelfari too!

Finally, here is the craft we did.  Very simple, just made some tiny leaves using our Ellison machine and gave them all a paper with a blank tree on it.
