We have an awesome giant fish bowl die cut and fish ones.  So we colored and glued!

Pig Storytime!

This week we talked about pigs!

Flannel Board:

5 little piggies running out the door, one tripped and fell and that left 4.

4 little piggies dancing with glee, one fell down and then there were 3.

3 little piggies shopping for new shoes, one had no money and that left 2.

2 little piggies lying in the sun, one went for a swim and that left 1.

1 little piggie was sad to be alone, he got scared so he ran home!

I also did a great folder story with the kids called Farmer’s Friends.  On the front is a picture of a barn:

And you lift the barn door and reveal what animal is inside!

We had such a good time talking about each animal and what sound it makes.

Pigs to the Rescue! By: John Himmelman (This was awesome because on every page we threw our fists in the air and shouted “Pigs to the Rescue!” and the kids LOVED it)

A very cute piggy face!  I had the kids glue them on a popscicle stick to make it a mask, they loved it.
