This week we talked about bugs!

Itsy Bitsy Spider By: Dr. Jean (Love this one cause we also sing about the big fat gorilla and teensy weensy ant)

Alabama, Mississippi By: Jim Gill (we use egg shakers for this one)

Hands are for clapping By: Jim Gill

Flannel Board:

5 Little Bees

1 little bee flew and flew, he met a friend and that made 2.

2 little bees busy as can be, along came another and that made 3.

3 little bees wanted one more, found one soon and that made 4.

4 little bees going to the hive, spied their little bother and that made 5.

5 little bees working every hour, buzz away bees and find another flower!

Can You Make a Scary Face? By: Jan Thomas

The Very Lonely Firefly By: Eric Carle

Check out my Bug tag on my Shelfari page for more good books that I didn’t have time to read!

We made little ladybugs out of card-stock.  They stand up all on their own!  Here is my template so you can print it and use it too.  Enjoy!
